This revision rhinoplasty promotion is for anyone unhappy with the shape or function of their nose after a previous surgery. Your surgical plan is put together after checking your existing implant and tissue condition.

This revision rhinoplasty event is for anyone who's had nose surgery before but isn't happy with the shape, whose nose tip has drooped or whose nose has become crooked over time, or who now finds it harder to breathe. The same problem can call for a different revision approach depending on its cause, so the clinic first analyzes what went wrong with the previous surgery and checks the condition of the existing implant, cartilage and tissue before drawing up a surgical plan. The clinic's stated goal is for this to be your last rhinoplasty.

Who it's for

  • Anyone reconsidering surgery because they're unhappy with the height, tip shape or bridge line from a previous nose job
  • Anyone whose nose tip has dropped or whose nose looks crooked some time after surgery
  • Anyone also dealing with breathing discomfort, such as nasal congestion or asymmetrical nostrils
  • Anyone with an implant placed long ago (such as an L-shaped silicone implant) that causes repeated redness, pain or warmth at the tip, or whose outline shows through the skin
  • Anyone worried about ending up with repeated revisions who wants the cause pinpointed first

How it works

  1. Sharing your surgical history and online consultationThe basic rule of revision surgery is to give the surgeon a full picture of the nose shape you want and your previous surgery (when it was done, what materials were used, and so on). Before your trip to Korea, you can send 5 photos of noses you like for an initial online consultation.
  2. Cause analysisThe clinic first analyzes why the previous result fell short, since the revision method depends on the cause.
  3. Examination and diagnosisMedical imaging such as a CT scan is used to look at the nasal structure and check how much septal cartilage (the central pillar inside the nose) remains, whether it's bent, and whether it was already harvested in a previous surgery. The position of the existing implant, the surrounding capsule, skin thickness and cartilage condition are also assessed.
  4. Pre-op health checkAfter a blood test, ECG, chest X-ray and a review of any medications you take, the clinic decides whether surgery can go ahead and which anesthesia to use.
  5. Choosing materials and methodsIn some cases removing the implant is enough; in others, the deformed structure also needs to be corrected. The tip is shaped and angled separately using your own cartilage (septal, ear or rib cartilage), while silicone may be used for the bridge if needed. The right materials and method are decided during consultation.
  6. SurgeryAnesthesia is monitored in real time during the operation. The surgical process is documented in photos, which are given to the patient.

What's included

  • 1 revision rhinoplasty
  • Anesthesia fee
  • Post-op care

Prices include VAT and apply until November 30, 2026. Because revision plans vary with the condition left by the previous surgery, the final scope of surgery and whether any costs beyond the event's included items apply are confirmed during consultation.

From surgery day to recovery

  1. Before your tripHave an online consultation using your photos and previous surgery details, and coordinate your surgery date with your departure date. The surgeon recommends waiting at least about 6 months after the previous surgery before a revision. That gives the scar tissue inside the nose time to mature and soften, and lets the skin get ready for another operation. If there's inflammation or a complication, though, revision is done promptly regardless of timing.
  2. Surgery daySurgery takes place after consultation and examinations. The anesthesia method and surgery duration are explained during consultation.
  3. Right after surgerySwelling and bruising will appear. When the nasal packing and splint come off depends on the surgical method and is explained during consultation.
  4. Around 2 weeksAccording to the surgeon, bruising after rhinoplasty takes about 2 weeks to fade, and light makeup is possible from week 2. Daily activities can resume from about one week after surgery.
  5. Around 1 to 6 monthsAbout 80% of the swelling goes down in roughly a month, and it takes around 6 months for the cartilage to soften as it heals. If you've had multiple revisions, the tissue may be firmer and recovery may take longer, so guidance is given based on your condition.

Aftercare

  • Post-op care is included in the event price.
  • The anesthesia fee is also included in the event price.
  • When the nasal packing and splint come off, and how to care for your nose afterward, are explained during consultation based on your surgical method.

Doctor and clinic

Dr. Im Ji-hong, a board-certified plastic surgeon and the clinic's head surgeon, personally handles both consultation and surgery. A Japanese interpreter is on site and accompanies you from consultation through surgery day; for other languages, please ask when booking. The clinic runs real-time anesthesia monitoring during surgery, emergency equipment, sterile facilities and an infection and contamination control system, and the operating room has CCTV. It's located on Gangnam-daero in Seocho-gu, close to Gangnam Station.

Side effects and precautions

  • Bleeding, infection or inflammation can occur after surgery, so follow the clinic's aftercare instructions.
  • Swelling and bruising are common and gradually subside during recovery.
  • Tissue is often weakened or damaged by previous surgery, and it gets weaker with each additional operation. Repeated revisions don't guarantee a satisfying result, so make your decision only after the cause has been analyzed and you've heard and understood a full explanation of whether the result you want is surgically achievable.
  • Using rib cartilage leaves a small scar below the chest, and the donor site may be painful.
  • If the implant becomes exposed or you develop swelling, pain or discharge, seek medical care without delay.
  • The result may feel different from what you expected before surgery, so it's important to show the look you want in concrete terms with photos during consultation.

FAQ

My surgery was recent. Can I get a revision right away?

The surgeon usually recommends waiting at least 6 months. Operating after the tissue inside the nose has matured and the hardened tissue has softened makes the procedure smoother and the result better. If there's inflammation or a complication, though, revision is done promptly regardless of timing.

How many revisions can I have?

There's no fixed limit. What matters more than the number is having surgery only after the tissue has fully recovered and returned to normal. That can take as little as 6 months, or as long as 1 to 1.5 years.

Does an L-shaped silicone implant from years ago always have to come out?

No. Age alone isn't a reason to remove it; the deciding factor is what changes are happening in your nose now. If the tip often turns red, feels painful or warm, the outline shows through, or the nose looks shorter or crooked, it's worth getting the cause checked.

What kind of cartilage is used?

Septal cartilage from inside the nose is the default, but if a lot of it was used in a previous surgery or it's naturally weak, ear or rib cartilage is used to supplement it. Your remaining cartilage is checked first through examination.

What language is the consultation in?

A Japanese interpreter is on site; for other languages, please ask in advance when booking. Before your trip to Korea, you can get an initial online consultation by sending 5 photos of noses you like.
