In Korea, the way it rains changes a little when summer comes.

In Korea, the rain suddenly becomes much heavier in summer. Especially in July and August, there’s a period called “jangma” (the monsoon season), and there are many days when it pours all at once. Seoul’s annual rainfall is also quite heavily concentrated in summer. In contrast, spring and fall often have dry, comfortable days that are easy to walk around in. Even in the same Seoul, the way the city looks changes quite a bit depending on the season. The Han River on a rainy day feels a little quiet, and I don’t dislike it. Do you all like rainy days? 🧸
