Not all Korean snacks are flashy.

Jocheong (조청)-based sweets are surprisingly good. They look plain. But once you try them, the sweetness is gentle. It’s different from honey, and also slightly different from the sweetness of sugar. They’re traditional sweets, but these days you can also find them in cafés and souvenir shops. Honestly, I didn’t expect much at first. But they go surprisingly well with coffee.
