In Korea, May feels like the “Month of Family.”

In Korea, when May comes around, you often see the phrase “Family Month.” May 5 is Children’s Day, and May 8 is Parents’ Day. More shops start selling carnations, and there are more families out and about, so it feels like the atmosphere in the city changes a little too. It’s also the season when more people head to the Han River and parks. The spring temperatures are just right, making it pleasant to spend time outdoors.
